Literature

Here I will collect a rambling list of articles, stories, and podcasts from a variety of news outlets, guest blogs, and other entertainment media that pertain specifically to the production and consumption of Literature.  On the subject, should you wish to know, my all-time favorite writers and major influences on my own writing are James Joyce, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain, William Shakespeare, and Charles Bukowski.  My favorite books are To Kill A Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn, Crime and Punishment, The Count of Monte CristoHam On Rye, On The Road, Into The Wild, and The Alchemist, and I'm also a big fan of short stories, which is why I consider my voice and writing style to be somewhat of a cross between Hemingway and Bukowski.  I want to mention, too, while I'm here, that my self-awareness and experience tells me that I am a much better editor than I am a writer, so if anyone out there would like a fresh, critical eye on anything they've been working on, please don't hesitate to reach out to me--I'll give anything a look!
